Greyhound Pets of America/Emerald Coast mission is to place retired racing greyhounds into loving pet homes. GPAEC takes the responsibility for each greyhound's health needs before being placed in homes. These needs include, but are not exclusive of, physical checkup, spaying/neutering, vaccinations, dental check, teeth cleaning, heart worm treatment, and flea and tick treatment. The cost of these services is funded strictly through donations and fundraising events.

In 2010, GPAEC sent 916 greyhounds to local homes or other groups for adoption.

It is the hope of GPAEC that you will want to help by being a sponsor of the Hound Dog Howliday. We offer three levels of sponsorship, hoping that one will fit your wants and expectations. GPAEC is a 501 C 3 organization; thus all donations are tax deductible. Please review the levels, pledge the most appropriate, and join us in finding every adoptable greyhound a "forever" home.
